LEVITICUS 23:3
A potter once ruined clay by rushing, yet produced beauty after pausing to rest. Likewise, God invites us to stop striving and find renewal in Him. True rest restores both body and soul.
Leviticus 23:3 teaches that six days are for work, but the seventh is a holy Sabbath of complete rest. This command shows God values not only labour but also worship and stillness. The Sabbath is a sacred time set apart to honour Him, delight in His presence, and remember that He is our provider.
When we embrace God’s rhythm of rest, we depend less on effort and more on His strength. Set aside time to pause, worship, and be refreshed in Him.
