UNLOCKED DOORS

PSALM 18:3–6, 16–19

A woman once kept her bicycle chained in a shed long after the lock had rusted through. She still acted as though it were secured, never testing the door. How often do we live as if barriers remain, when they have already been removed?

In Psalm 18:3–6, 16–19, David recalls being entangled by cords of death and overwhelmed by distress. He cried out, and God reached down from on high, drawing him out into a spacious place. His rescue was not partial but complete—strong, deliberate and loving.

We, too, may cling to old anxieties or guilt, behaving as though we are still confined. Yet God’s deliverance invites us into freedom. Through His grace, we can leave the shed behind and ride into open ground.

🙏 May God, our Father, deliver you from any trap of the enemy and teach you to walk in His freedom. Amen.
