PSALM 48
A lighthouse stands on a quiet coast, yet its beam travels far beyond its shores. Though rooted in one place, its light guides many. Praise works the same way—anchored locally, reaching globally.
Psalm 48 celebrates Jerusalem as God’s dwelling place, secure and joyful because He is there. From this city, God’s name and praise spread outward to the ends of the earth. His presence, not the place itself, gives it glory and strength.
Our homes may feel small or ordinary, yet they matter to God’s purposes. When we worship faithfully and live openly for Him, His praise travels further than we imagine—through our words, choices, and lives.
