SEEN BY THE ONE WHO CARES

GENESIS 16:1–13

Imagine a single tree in a vast, empty field. It seems forgotten—until a passing artist stops, sketches it at sunset, and turns it into something beautiful. What others overlook, the artist treasures. In the same way, God notices what the world often ignores.

In Genesis 16:1–13, Hagar, feeling rejected and alone, fled into the wilderness. Yet God met her there, called her by name, and gave her hope. She called Him El Roi—“the God who sees me.”

Even when we feel invisible, God sees us. He knows our pain and stays close. We are never forgotten by Him.

🙏 God sees you when you feel unseen. May He help you to trust His care and show that same compassion to others. Amen.
