PROVERBS 14:29–35
Jane sometimes wished her husband were more driven—like her colleague’s spouse who was always chasing big goals. Her husband, Ben, was calm, content, and focused on family. At first, Jane thought something was missing. But over time, she realised his steady love and quiet strength were a true gift.
Proverbs 14:30 says that envy rots the bones. When we start making comparisons, we may stop seeing the blessings God has placed in our lives. Peace comes when we choose gratitude.
