THE ALTAR OF DAILY LIFE

ROMANS 12:1–8

In a rural village, a gifted young man turned down a well-paying job in the city to remain and teach children in his local church. Though he had little in terms of wealth, he gave his time, skills, and energy in service to God and His people.

In Romans 12:1–8, Paul urges believers to offer themselves as living sacrifices—holy and pleasing to God. True worship is not limited to songs and prayers, but expressed through daily acts of surrender, service, and humility.

We may not have to leave our secular jobs or businesses, but rather than conform to the world’s sinful and prideful ways, we are called to renew our minds, live humbly, and use our God-given gifts to reach the world in love and unity.

🙏 May God help you present yourself each day as a living sacrifice unto Him. Amen.
