LAMENTATIONS 3:21–26; PSALM 63:3
A recent airline flight tossed passengers left and right down the runway during a somewhat bumpy landing. A couple of the passengers appeared apprehensive, but two small girls seated behind us cheered, “Yeah! Let us do that again!”
Children’s openness to new adventures and humble wonder may align with Jesus’ teachings to receive the kingdom of God like a little child (Mark 10:15).
Jeremiah, known as “the weeping prophet,” experienced life’s challenges and heartaches. Despite these, God’s faithful love and mercies never cease, beginning each morning (Lamentation 3:22–23).
Jeremiah emphasised that God’s goodness transcends immediate circumstances, and His faithfulness transcends life’s rough places. Look for God’s fresh mercies today.
