HEBREWS 10:19-25
John’s house is on a country lane, often used during rush hour to avoid the main road and traffic lights. Workmen arrived to repair the damaged road surface, bringing large barriers and “No Entry” signs. John was initially worried about not being able to get his car out until the work was finished. However, he discovered that the signs only allowed residents to enter and exit, granting him the right to enter and exit as long as he lived there. This experience made John feel special and protected.
The Old Testament restricted access to God in the tabernacle and temple, with only the high priest able to offer sacrifices. However, Jesus’ death led to the temple curtain being torn in two, destroying the barrier between man and God.
Everyone who loves and follows Christ has the ability to enter God’s presence at any moment as a result of His death on the cross for our sins. He has granted us permission to enter.
🙏 Lord, thank You for paying such a price to enable us to have unrestricted entry into Your presence!
