JOHN 4:31-34
Meat Mountain is a hidden menu item in fast-food restaurants, resembling a featured item. It is known only through social media and word of mouth, suggesting an offer of secret menus to in-the-know customers.
Jesus revealed His hidden food to His disciples, who were confused about it. He explained that it was to fulfil His Father’s will and complete His work.
While speaking to a Samaritan woman about living water, which revealed a supernatural understanding of her unquenched thirst for life, He revealed His identity. She left her water pot behind and ran to tell her neighbours.
What was formerly a secret is now available to everyone. All of us are invited by Jesus to put our faith in His capacity to provide for our most fundamental needs. As we proceed, we learn how to live not only to satisfy our physical desires but also to please the soul.
🤔: The world’s spiritual hunger can only be satisfied by Christ, the Living Bread.
🎶:
I’m feeding on the living bread,
I’m drinking at the fountain head;
And who so drinketh, Jesus said,
Shall never, never thirst again.
What, never thirst again?
No! never thirst again.
What, never thirst again?
No! never thirst again.
And whoso drinketh, Jesus said,
Shall never, never thirst again.
