LUKE 18:1-8
Are you going through one of those phases where it appears that no matter what you do to tackle a problem, another one crops up? You praise the Lord at night that it has been resolved, but when you awaken, you discover that something else Has gone wrong and the issue still exists.
In Luke’s story of the Persistent Widow, Jesus’ followers were taught a very simple lesson: “Always pray and never give up.”
The act of praying is not a way to force God to do what we wish. Recognising His influence and purpose for our lives is a journey. In prayer, we surrender our circumstances and lives to the Lord, trusting that He will act in His timing and according to His plan.
We can continue to come to the Lord in prayer, trusting in His knowledge and concern for us, as we rely on His grace not just for the results of our petitions but also for the process.
The message from Our Lord to us is clear: Never give up and never stop praying!
🙏 Lord, keep our hearts in check, control our words, and extend Your grace to us in the current challenges we face. May we constantly pray to You.
