JOHN 9:1-7; JOHN 8:12
Albert Einstein is remembered as the brilliant physicist who revolutionised the way we view the world. His well-known equation E=mc2 transformed science and ushered in the nuclear era. Through his “Special Theory of Relativity,” he came to the conclusion that since everything in the universe is moving, all knowledge is a question of perspective. He believed that the speed of light was the only constant by which we could measure space, time, or physical mass.
Yet, from a different angle, Jesus discussed the function of light in understanding our world long before Einstein. Jesus healed a man who had been born blind to prove that He is the Light of the World (John 8:12; 9:6).
Jesus’ claims can be verified, whereas Einstein’s theories would subsequently be shown to be challenging to test. Jesus is available to us in the Gospels. He can be welcomed into our regular activities. He has the power to alter our viewpoints on anything.
🙏🏻 Lord Jesus, thank You for being the one true Light that the darkness can never extinguish.
