COLOSSIANS 1:15-20
It is easy to think of Jesus as “baby Jesus” when we celebrate Christmas. But Paul paints a breathtaking portrait of who Jesus is in his epistle to the Colossian church. Paul identifies Jesus as the exact representation and reality of God, the supreme ruler of all creation, the center of the world, the one who ties everything together, and the one who also serves as the powerful head of His church. He possesses all of God. Jesus is ultimately responsible for enabling peace with God.
If we are tempted to see Jesus as nothing more than a helpless baby the next time we look at a nativity scene, let us be reminded that He is the extraordinary Son.
MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄 TO YOU!
