EPHESIANS 2:10; 4:5-16
The early 1900s saw the development of the Dreadnought D-35 guitar, which is larger than most of those made at the time and is renowned for its robust and loud tone. It was given that name in commemoration of the large British battleship HMS Dreadnought from World War I. The D-35 has an unusual back. Due to the scarcity of wide, premium rosewood pieces, the artisans creatively joined three smaller pieces of wood, producing a deeper tone.
God’s creation resembles that amazing guitar in many ways. Jesus assembles pieces into a whole in order to honour Him. He chose as His followers tax collectors, Jewish revolutionaries, fishermen, and others. Christ has continued to call out people from all areas of life throughout the ages.
Many different kinds of individuals are woven together in the Master’s hands and being constructed into something with immense potential for worshiping God and serving others.
🙏🏻Thank You Jesus for using us individually and together to bring You
honour. Help us to live in Your power.
