GETTING USED TO WAITING ON GOD

PSALM 62:5

After 3 years of trying to pass the written test, Cha Sa-soon, a 69-year-old Korean woman, finally earned her driving permit. She wished to obtain the license in order to take her grandchildren to the zoo.

In a world where everything tends to happen instantly, she was persistent. People dislike the word “wait” being used! However, the Bible frequently instructs us that God wants us to wait on Him until the appropriate time.

Waiting on God entails steadfastly turning to Him for our needs.

Our prayers frequently center on pleading with God to hasten and favour our plans. Even if His answer does not arrive when we expect it to, we can still rely on Him and wait.

“Your will be done” should be the final words of every prayer.

🙏Give us the patience we need and let us feel Your love and care when we cry out to You, O Lord, and wait for answers to our prayers.
