GENESIS 2:7
God did not have to worry about running out of material when He created Adam out of dust (Gen. 2:7). It is estimated that between 1 and 3 billion tons of desert dust are released into the atmosphere annually.
Nobody needs to buy dust since we all have more than enough. Some people in their homes try to ignore it for as long as they can. However, it ultimately builds up to the point that they can no longer ignore it. As a result, they begin eliminating it from wherever it has taken up residence.
We can see ourselves reflected on smooth surfaces once dust is removed. Another thing we can discover is that God took something worthless, dust, and turned it into something valuable – ourselves and everyone else.
The fact that God created humanity out of dust should make us reconsider dismissing someone or something as worthless. Perhaps the same thing we desire to get rid of – an annoying person or problem – is the artistic medium God has provided to display His majesty.
🙏🏼 Lord, we have a tendency to hastily dismiss or ignore challenging individuals and situations. Help us to be receptive to learning from and seeing Your glory through them.
