PSALM 37:1-11
Does it surprise you how much attention today’s culture pays to people who stand up for all bad things?
Many people become stars and make headlines when they embrace immoral philosophies in their actions (for example: their music, films or shows).
While in this dark and cheesy world it is right to be salt and light (Matthew 5:13-14) to thwart sin by reflecting the light of Jesus whenever possible, we cannot allow negative forces to lead us to live in anger or restlessness (Psalm 37:8). Instead, we must believe that God has the final say over the wicked and the righteous.
We may not like what we see and hear about certain aspects of society, but remember: God is in control, trust Him to do the right thing and do not worry.
