ROMANS 13:14
Every morning when people wake up and begin their day, part of their routine is choosing what to wear. For those who work in environments with strict dress code or uniform, such as a hospital, the decision is made for them and how they dress will likely affect the way that others relate to them. For instance, a nurse dressed in a white coat will give patients reassurance.
It is important for us to dress appropriately for work and business appointments. It does make a difference how people see us and think about us.
Whether we like it or not, our clothing communicates – and they can have serious effects on our ability to achieve success.
Spiritually speaking, what we put on in our daily walk matters a lot. Paul told the Romans to “put on the Lord Jesus Christ” and “make no provision for the flesh.” The person and character of Jesus should be seen in them; they should reflect His nature.
We must choose to put on Christ each and every day and live faithfully in our new life.
