People value recognition because it makes them feel important. Usually the recognition we seek is from other people. When we are not recognised, we may end up with feelings of frustration, anger, sadness, emptiness, disappointment, and even hatred.
Not only does God recognise you. He has special feelings for you. He cannot stop thinking of you.
So when you think about how God Almighty handpicked you from the crowd and called you His own, that is enough to make you hold your head high. You are not an inferior person. You are one to be reckoned with. I pray that kind of holy confidence rests in you today.
