JOHN 6:35
“As with gladness men of old
did the guiding star behold;
as with joy they hailed its light,

When Jesus was born and laid in a manger, God had sent Bread from heaven that was more holy than any other ever sent before. Jesus is our “Bread from heaven.”
Sadly, some people still want something different, just as the Israelites did when God sent them manna (bread from heaven). He is the bread that we need daily. When we eat from our Bread of Life – Jesus Christ – we are truly satisfied.
Come to the manger with the wise men and take a look inside. As you look at the babe inside that manger, whom everyone came to admire, remember that He is the same person who was later rejected and killed for sins He did not commit. He arose from the dead! Now, we can eat daily from the Bread of Life and drink His Living Water.
