PSALM 39:7
It makes no difference how hard we have worked. Everything can suddenly be on hold. A good example is the corona virus pandemic and lockdowns that followed to control its spread.
If we put our hope in this world: whether in our health, or home, or a job, things can change in the twinkle of an eye. It is in such times that we are reminded that there is only one true, everlasting hope and it can only be found beyond this world. In this life, nothing is guaranteed. When we put our hope in God, we will never be disappointed.
