THE CAMERAMAN

PROVERBS 15:3

In Revelation 2:2, Jesus told the church in Ephesus “I know your works.” He had intimate knowledge of all they were doing or not doing. This knowledge was not hazy on the details. It was sharp and clear, like a well taken photograph.

The Ephesians would have had mixed feelings about this. On one hand, they would have felt vindicated that all of their unnoticed good works had been recorded by the One who sees and rewards everyone. On the other hand, those things they thought they had gotten away with had also been seen by Him.

Intimacy with Christ comes with His knowledge of everything we do. He will not overlook the good we do, nor will He turn a blind eye to those things that are unpleasant.

He is measuring, scanning, and collecting data even now. It is a new day to start afresh in repentance and keep up the good works as He captures the details.
