NUMBERS 13:25–14:9
A man declined a promotion in another country due to fear of leaving their home.
The Israelites were called to inhabit a fertile land but were initially afraid of powerful people in large cities. Joshua and Caleb urged them to trust in the Lord, stating that the Lord is with them. Despite the large population, they could trust in the Lord’s presence even in the face of adversity.
Fear has prevented a lot of people from taking advantage of their chances. How about you? Do you find yourself in a scary situation? If so, you can be confident that the Lord will lead and be by your side. We may proceed in faith because of His unwavering love.
