God does not always reveal Himself in the manner in which we desire. At times He appears like an unkind friend, but He is not; He may appear like an unjust judge, but He is not. JOB 42:5.

God listens to our silent prayers, but He also longs to hear our voices raised to the heavens, demanding justice for the oppressed and assistance for the wounded and hurting. EPHESIANS 6:18.

If we ignore God’s assignment for us, He will probably select someone else and the job will be done. But we can’t even imagine what we have missed! 2 CHRON.16:9A.

We may not understand why. But if the Holy Spirit prompts us to pray, we must do exactly that. ROMANS 8:26-27.

Who motivates you? Since God created us, it is only logical that He would know how to motivate us for good works rather than evil. ROMANS 8:9A.

God is our Father and He keeps us from being spiritual orphans. PSALM 68:5-6.

Show your children how much you love them. Say it. Show it. Move past any reservations about really expressing to them the depths of your love. Hug your children. Let them hug you. 1 JOHN 3:1A.

With Mother’s Day behind us, and Father’s Day right around the corner, I wonder how we will be remembered – the same way Paul remembered Timothy’s mother and grandmother or for negative activities. 2 TIMOTHY 1:5.
