JOHN 15:17–27
A student who refuses to cheat during an examination may face ridicule from classmates who cheat. Similarly, Christians may face opposition for choosing righteousness over wrongdoing.
In John 15:17–27, Jesus warns His disciples that the world will hate them because it hated Him first. As His followers, we should expect opposition while remaining faithful to His teachings. The Holy Spirit will strengthen us to bear witness to Christ.
Do not compromise your faith to gain people’s approval. Avoid corruption, dishonesty and immorality, even under pressure. Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good than for doing evil (1 Peter 3:17). Stand firm in Christ with courage and integrity.
🙏May the Lord strengthen you to stand firm in righteousness, remain faithful under persecution, and shine boldly for Christ. Amen.
