JOHN 21:15-25
A young carpenter once ruined a valuable table through a careless mistake. Expecting dismissal, he apologised to his master. Instead, the master said, “Learn from this, repair it, and do better next time.” Sometimes, failure becomes the doorway to growth when met with forgiveness.
John 21:15-25 tells how Jesus restored Peter after his threefold denial. By asking Peter three times, “Do you love me?” Jesus gave him an opportunity to reaffirm his love and entrusted him with caring for His sheep. Jesus then said, “Follow me,” calling Peter to renewed obedience.
Our past failures do not cancel God’s purpose for our lives. When we repent, we should accept His forgiveness, learn from our mistakes and faithfully follow Him. Let us stop comparing ourselves with others and focus on the calling Christ has given us.
🙏 May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ restore you whenever you fall. May He strengthen, and guide you. May His peace remain with you always. Amen.
