BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING

1 KINGS 7:38–47

A man entrusted his valuable property to a friend while he travelled. The property remained his, but the friend was responsible for using and caring for it wisely. Likewise, Solomon’s abundance was entrusted to him by God for a greater purpose.

In 1 Kings 7:38–47, Solomon used vast quantities of bronze to furnish the Temple. So much was used that its weight was not determined. God had blessed Solomon with riches and honour (1 Kings 3:13), and Solomon used those resources in God’s service.

We too are stewards, not absolute owners, of what God entrusts to us—wealth, abilities, time and opportunities. Therefore, we should ask not merely what we possess, but how faithfully we are using it for God’s glory and the good of others.

🙏 May God bless you, guide you, and make you faithful stewards of His gifts. Amen.
