1 KINGS 1:38-43
A tree may spend long growing beneath the soil before anyone sees its strength. Hidden growth is still growth. In the same way, God may work quietly before His purpose becomes visible.
In 1 Kings 1:38-43, Solomon was anointed and proclaimed king according to David’s instructions. Though Adonijah had attempted to establish himself as king, his ambition could not overturn God’s plan. Solomon became king because God had chosen him.
Do not mistake silence for abandonment or delay for denial. God’s timing is perfect, and His mercy can transform past failures into new beginnings. Remain faithful when others seem to advance ahead of you. Keep trusting God, knowing that human opposition cannot cancel what He has ordained.
