2 THESSALONIANS 3:6-13
Despite being born into slavery and facing severe poverty, George Washington Carver worked diligently to fund his own education, eventually becoming a world-renowned agricultural scientist. His life reminds us that meaningful progress requires faithful effort, not idleness. As Christians, waiting on God should never become an excuse for laziness.
In 2 Thessalonians 3:6-13, Paul rebukes believers who refused to work while waiting for Christ’s return. He points to his own example of working diligently and stated that anyone who failed to work, should not eat. Believers are called to live responsibly and avoid becoming burdensome to others.
Therefore, use your time wisely and engage in meaningful work, however small it may seem. If you are waiting for employment or a breakthrough, keep doing what you can while trusting God for greater opportunities.
🙏May the Lord bless your efforts, strengthen your hands, and prosper your work as you faithfully trust Him. Amen.
