2 THESSALONIANS 2:8–17
A young tree growing on a windy hillside bent almost to the ground whenever storms came. Its branches broke, but its roots held firmly beneath the soil. Years later, it had become one of the strongest trees in the valley. The storms had taught it to stand. Likewise, trials can strengthen our faith when our roots are firmly planted in God.
2 Thessalonians 2:8–17 calls us to stand firm in the truth we have received. Paul reminds believers of God’s love, grace and calling, and prays that Christ will comfort and strengthen their hearts for every good word and work.
When difficulties come, do not surrender your faith. Stay rooted in God’s Word, continue doing what is right and encourage others. The Lord can use every trial to make you stronger and more steadfast.
🙏May God strengthen your hearts, steady your faith, and help you stand firm until Christ returns.
