JOHN 17:20–26
A choir may have different voices, yet beautiful music comes when they sing in harmony. Likewise, Jesus desires His followers to live as one, despite our differences. Unity makes our witness stronger and reflects God’s love to the world.
In John 17:20–26, Jesus prayed not only for His disciples but for all who would believe in Him. He asked that believers be united, just as He and the Father are one. He also desired that His followers would share in His presence and experience His love.
Today, division, competition and the pursuit of positions can weaken the Church. We must choose forgiveness, cooperation and love above denominational or personal interests. In our families, churches and workplaces, let us become peacemakers who promote Christ’s desire for unity.
🙏May Christ unite your heart with others, strengthen your faith, and make you a peacemaker. Amen.
