GROWING TOGETHER IN HOLINESS

1 THESSALONIANS 3:7–13

An African proverb says, “If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.” In many villages, farmers often support one another during planting and harvest, ensuring that no family is left behind. Such cooperation reflects the strength found in shared responsibility and mutual encouragement.

In 1 Thessalonians 3:7–13, Paul rejoices because Timothy’s visit strengthened the faith of the Thessalonian believers. Their steadfastness encouraged Paul, who continued praying that they would abound in love and be established in holiness until Christ returns.

The Christian life is not meant to be lived in isolation. Encourage others through prayer, wise counsel, and loving support. By helping one another grow in faith, we become instruments God uses to prepare His people for His coming.

🙏May the Lord empower you to encourage others, walk in holiness, and remain faithful to His calling. Amen.
