JOHN 20:11–18
A little girl wandered through a crowded park, frightened because she could not find her parents. She ignored every stranger who called to her, but the moment she heard her father’s familiar voice calling her name, fear disappeared, and she ran into his arms with joy.
In John 20:11–18, Mary Magdalene stood weeping outside Jesus’ tomb, believing she had lost Him forever. She did not recognise the risen Jesus until He gently called her by name. Instantly, her sorrow turned to joy, and Jesus sent her to tell the disciples that He was alive.
Jesus still knows each of us personally. When we listen for His voice instead of our fears, He replaces despair with hope and gives us the courage to share His message with others.
🙏 May Christ’s voice guide, strengthen, comfort, and fill you with lasting hope.
