JUDE 1:17–19
In early 2026, severe chemical pollution originating from industrial discharge hit the Osun River in Nigeria, turning its waters black and endangering local communities. Like this devastating environmental disaster, unholy desires act as an industrial pollutant, quietly flowing into our minds, fouling our spiritual purity, and poisoning our character.
Jude 1:17–19 warns that mockers will emerge, operating under the influence of their own ungodly passions. Lacking the Holy Spirit, these worldly individuals introduce spiritual contamination and cause damaging divisions within the fellowship of believers.
We must aggressively block out corrupt modern media, financial cyber-crimes, and toxic peer compromises. Soaking ourselves daily in God’s Word acts as a filtration system, keeping our hearts clean, healthy, and securely rooted in His love.
