FAVOURED BEYOND ABILITY

LUKE 1:39–49

Many people believe success comes only through talent, influence, education, or personal strength. Yet throughout history, God has often chosen ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. People may overlook someone because of their background, appearance, or lack of experience, but God does not measure greatness the way humans do. He delights in showing His power through those who seem weak or insignificant so that His glory may be revealed. Mary was one such person — a simple young woman with no worldly status — yet God chose her to carry the greatest gift the world would ever receive, Jesus Christ. Her story reminds us that divine favour can elevate a person beyond natural ability and place them in positions they never imagined.

In Luke 1:39–49, Mary rejoiced because God chose and honoured her. Gabriel made it clear that her selection was not by human merit but by Divine favour. God lifted a humble young woman for His glorious purpose.

Hard work matters, but God’s favour opens doors human effort cannot. When God chooses to bless a person, impossibilities become testimonies. Trust Him faithfully, and He will grant grace for every assignment.

🙏May God’s favour elevate, preserve, strengthen, and distinguish you always.
