WAITING WHEN IT MATTERS MOST

EXODUS 14:13–31

In 1914, during World War I, soldiers on opposing sides paused fighting in what became known as the Christmas Truce. In the midst of intense conflict, they chose restraint over reaction. It showed that even in chaos, there is power in stillness.

In Exodus 14:13–31, Moses instructed the Israelites to stand firm and hold their peace as God fought for them. As they obeyed, the Red Sea parted, giving them passage, and later closed upon their enemies, securing their freedom.

This reminds us that not every battle requires our effort. When faced with fear or pressure, trust God and remain calm. He is able to act on your behalf and bring victory.

🙏 May the peace of God keep your heart steady, and His power fight your battles, now and always, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
