MATTHEW 13:44-46
During renovations, a couple discovered a stash of gold coins beneath their kitchen floor — treasure hidden in plain sight. They had lived over it for years, unaware of its value.
Jesus said the kingdom of heaven is like hidden treasure. When truly seen, it is worth more than anything we could own. In the parable (our text), the man joyfully sold everything to gain it. Likewise, God invites us to pursue His kingdom above all — not out of duty, but with joy, knowing nothing compares to life with Him.
