2 CORINTHIANS 1:8–11
Think of a stubborn child trying to carry a heavy bag alone, refusing help despite the struggle. A caring parent patiently offers a hand, reminding them they do not have to bear the burden by themselves.
Paul experienced intense hardship and despair (2 Corinthians 1:8), yet the prayers of the church brought him comfort and strength. He wrote, “Who delivered us… Ye also helping together by prayer for us” (2 Corinthians 1:10–11). Even from afar, our prayers connect us in God’s love and make a difference.
Let us support one another through prayer, especially those facing persecution.
