LIGHTING THE WAY THROUGH PRAYER

LUKE 18:1

A lighthouse keeper once said he kept the light shining even in storms, not knowing who might be depending on it. Prayer is like that—faithfully shining into the distance.

John tearfully shared how his mother had prayed for his salvation for over 35 years. After she passed, he found her handwritten prayer for him in her Bible. He now carries that note in his own Bible—as a believer. Her persistent prayers were not in vain.

Jesus told us a parable (Luke 18:1–8) encouraging us to never stop praying. Unlike the unjust judge in the story, God is loving and attentive. He welcomes our prayers and hears every word.

Do not give up. Your prayers may be lighting the way home for someone.

🙏 May God give you the strength to keep praying faithfully—especially for those still far from Him. Amen.
