JOHN 14:1–6
In many African cultures, having a family home is a big deal. Whether it is a house in the village or a rented room in the city, a home brings comfort, identity, and belonging.
But even the best house here cannot compare to what Jesus promised us (John 14:2). He was not just talking about buildings—He meant an eternal home with God.
A friend once helped people find houses to live in—and also helped them find Jesus. That is the greatest gift anyone can give.
As we hustle through life, let us remember: there is more. Jesus is preparing a home where there is no rent, no landlord, and no sorrow. Just peace in God’s presence.
Let us be sure of our place there—and help others find theirs too.
