GALATIANS 5:25
It is easy to identify who is driving my neighbour’s car once it enters our estate. While he is gentle, his wife comes into the estate with a faster speed.
The speed of their car is determined by who is driving.
In every aspect of life, the issue of “Who is driving?” arises. Do we submit to God’s loving Spirit and the grace that leads to our growth, or do we allow the “wild things” of our old sin nature—such as anxiety, fear, or self-will—to control us?
We benefit when we give in to God. Scripture indicates that God’s wisdom brings us along pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace (Proverbs 3:17). It is better to follow His guidance, allowing Him to be the driver.
🙏 Receive the grace to allow Jesus to lead, and as you follow, may your life be blessed. Amen.
