PSALM 103:1–12
Upon reviewing her medical bill, tears streamed down as she realised her husband’s salary and considered the possibility of paying the debt. She prayed before contacting the doctor’s office to request a payment plan.
The receptionist informed her that the doctor had zeroed out their account after leaving her on hold for a brief period.
The physician’s decision to pardon their debt reminds us of God’s forgiveness for our sins. Scripture reveals God’s compassion, grace, and love. Christ’s sacrifice removes our sins when we repent and accept Him as our Saviour, thus erasing our former debt.
The Psalmist in Psalm 103 asked his soul and his whole being to bless the Lord and remember His benefits, including forgiveness, restored health, deliverance, love, satisfaction, and renewed energy.
We are free from past debts and can acknowledge the Lord’s generosity by offering devoted worship and grateful affection.
🙏 Lord Jesus, thank You for erasing our debt completely.
