EPHESIANS 4:1–6
One morning, while walking along the street, I met a friend I had a disagreement with, and we talked openly, resolving the issue. I thanked God for allowing me to talk to him, and we were able to resolve the situation.
Paul’s New Testament letter to followers of Christ in Ephesus reflects his personal experience of dealing with disagreements with humility, gentleness, and patience. He urged them to see beyond their own blind spots and learn to love one another, a skill that cannot be achieved through personal ability, reminding them that even when we cannot see the way forward, the Spirit can do more for us than we could ever ask or think.
Paul’s letter to the church at Ephesus encourages us to work for peace and unity through God’s Spirit, wearing gentleness, humility, and patience. He yearns for unity and can bring His people together through His Spirit, even unexpectedly.
🙏 Lord Jesus, unite us through your Spirit, and make us a people of peace.
