A London commuter train passenger pushed and abused a fellow traveller, leading to an unresolved incident. Later that day, the abusive passenger appeared before a business manager for a job interview, only to discover he was the person he encountered that morning. The person he abused earlier in the day was the one greeting him at the interview.
Saul encountered a blinding light while fighting against the followers of Jesus Christ. The same Jesus he was fighting was the one he met on the way as a helpless man.
Jesus had declared years before that our treatment of the thirsty, the hungry, the stranger, and the prisoner is a reflection of our connection with Him (Matthew 25:35–36). Who would have imagined that our loving Lord would take offence at our insults, at our helping or hurting others?
🙏Father, forgive us for being indifferent and unfriendly. Help us to relate better with others.
