ISAIAH 49:13-18; PSALM 103:13
Several mothers of young children were sharing encouraging spiritual experiences. But one woman claimed that she felt selfish for bothering God with her own problems. “My difficulties must seem small to Him,” she said, “compared to the enormous needs God addresses around the world.”
Later, her young boy came crying to his mother after jamming his fingers in a door. She did not reply. “How selfish of you to annoy me with your throbbing fingers when I am busy.” She treated him tenderly and with a lot of compassion.
Our loving God does not ignore the needs of others in order to address our worries. He loves and has time for each of His children constantly. Nothing is too insignificant for Him.
