COLOSSIANS 3:1-11
Image consultants are becoming essential in our media-saturated world. Athletes, politicians, corporate executives, and entertainers all seem anxious to influence how the public perceives them. Even though there may occasionally be a sharp contrast between the public image and the true person within, these expensive consultants strive to influence how their clients are seen.
In actuality, what people need—what we all need—is an inward transformation rather than an external makeover. Our most serious defects cannot be superficially fixed. They are directly connected to our inner selves.
True transformation, not just a facelift or external modification, is only attainable through Christ.
Jesus changes us into new individuals in Him—individuals with fresh hearts, not merely humans who have been polished to look good on the outside.
