DO WHAT IS RIGHT AND JUST

PROVERBS 21:3

From the life of King Saul we have an example of the negative consequences of disobedience, and from that of King David we have an example of the blessings of obedience. David was not perfect, but whenever he failed, he quickly repented and returned to God.

Obedience holds for us rewards that we can receive every day. Let us strive to be obedient so that we can enjoy the benefits of peace, joy, etc.

When we do what is right and just, in obedience to God’s will, it speaks for us before heaven and is better than whatever sacrifice we think we have to give to God.
