ROMANS 6:23
We have always had a virus, one people do not like to talk about. We are infected, but people reject the remedy.
The virus is sin. Caught from Adam and Eve from the beginning of time, it has spread throughout the globe. It was a pandemic long before corona virus, but the worse sin gets the more people ignore it. And Christians are condemned if they warn of it, so it continues to spread its toxins and infect our world.
Just as coughing around others affects them, sin affects all of us and has far reaching consequences. It may include our children and grandchildren. Unfortunately, we cannot just stay in our homes to keep away from it like the corona virus. Nowadays, it comes through our phones, computers, radios and TV screens.
The truth is this: Our greatest need is not hand sanitizer, nose mask, or face shield; it is the cleansing, sin-sanitizing work of Jesus Christ. Only acceptance of His finished work on Calvary can protect or cure us from this pandemic called sin.
