It is not enough to know what we feel called to do. Neither is it enough to know if what we are doing now is in God’s will. In order to do our most exceptional work for the glory of God and the good of others, we must also get in the habit of saying “no” to the many things that attempt to distract us from our essential mission and those that delay our action.
I guess nobody understood this better than Jesus who displayed a remarkable awareness of the natural limits, time and attention placed on our ability to fulfill our life’s calling, or what Jesus referred to as the work the Father gave Him to do.
We must realize that our days are short, and the time is NOW to work the works of God.
