PSALM 121:5–8
A lifeguard scans the beach even when swimmers feel safe. His watchful eyes mean someone cares enough to guard their lives. In a similar way, God lovingly watches over us every moment.
Psalm 121:5–8 declares that the Lord is our keeper and protector. For pilgrims travelling dangerous roads to Jerusalem, these words brought comfort. God promised to guard them day and night, protecting their lives and watching over their coming and going forever.
Today we also walk uncertain paths—facing worries, dangers, and difficult decisions. Yet God’s care never sleeps. Whether in work, family struggles, or quiet fears, we can trust that He sees and protects us always.
