LUKE 24:10–12
A man once ignored a sealed letter for days, assuming it carried bad news. When he finally opened it, he discovered an unexpected inheritance. In the Gospel of Luke 24:10–12, the women shared the news of Jesus’ resurrection, but the disciples dismissed it. Peter, however, chose to find out for himself. He ran to the tomb and saw the linen cloths, standing in wonder at what had happened.
This passage shows how easily truth can be doubted, even by those close to it. The women spoke faithfully, though not believed. The disciples struggled, yet Peter’s willingness to seek made the difference. His action reveals that faith can begin with a step towards understanding, even in uncertainty.
We too must not ignore the truth because it seems unlikely. Instead, let us seek, reflect, and respond. God honours hearts willing to know Him more.
🙏 May the Lord open your heart to seek, know, and boldly embrace His truth, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
